A nice "look at me now" romance

I liked this book for several reasons. The heroine, Hannah, overcomes a lot in her short life such as an abusive mother and obesity, to name a few. The ones who claim to love her, seem to fall short when when she needs them.

I can understand the insecurities which would come with a practically new life in a new skin, but Hannah comes off as so needy and constantly needing reassurance for every little thing it's maddening.

Then there is Zane. The reason why he supposedly left Hannah doesn't even make sense, especially since he knew about Hannah's situation better than anyone.

All in all, the book is still a good read.

A very easy read! Story is about a young girl who lost her best friend years ago and then meets him years later.... after she loses a bunch of weight. She had a horrible childhood and has to learn to trust and deal with that. It's a cute story. I really liked Zane.

okey so the story was really good like the background info.....but someparts of the story were overrated by that i mean for me to much emotional crying.....we all like little crying here and there but everytime she was like crying for real ......i got bored everytime she would start crying coz someone said something nice to her or what ever like quater of the book was about her crying aboht something or getting teary about something else.

over all it was still a cute story just needed to be revised a little bit more before marketing.....

About the Author
Blain Brown was educated at C.W. Post College; M.I.T. and Harvard Graduate School of Design. He began in New York as a commercial still photographer before starting in the film business. After working as a gaffer, be became a cinematographer doing primarily commercials and music videos. After completing his first feature film, he moved to Los Angeles where he has been Director of Photography on 14 feature films as well as national commercials, promotional films, industrials, music videos and documentaries. He has worked in many states in the U.S. as well as Mexico, Canada, India, Italy, France, the Philippines and Jordan.
