Saved Me $100s

Well written with detailed instructions, explanations, cautions and tips. Helpful pictures. Good quality paper (had to hold up to dirty hands as I worked). After receiving this manual, reviewed the procedure to replace a CV Axle and both front rotors on an '08 GMC Acadia. After ordering the required parts and getting the tools/supplies I did not have (nice torque wrench, BIG socket, breaker bar, & more), I saved a couple of hundred dollars over what the dealership quoted me to do the work.
The manual saved me time and helped me avoid problems I am sure I would have encountered if I did not have it. For example, i did not know the bolts connecting the steering knuckle to the strut have RIBBED SHOULDERS and can only be loosened via the nut end. I would have spent lots of unhappy time cussing those bolts, if not damaging them. Just one of many helpful tips the manual offered. I torqued ALL bolts to GM specs (supplied in the book) and now understand why that is so important.
Because of this manual, I have a better grasp on what I can do myself and what I should have done by a professional. I highly recommend this series of manuals to anyone with a desire to do some of their own repairs and maintenance and get it done safely and efficiently.

Needed to add air conditioning refrigerant. Book mislabeled lower port in picture. This error wasted my time and I had to go to the parts store multiple times--saw the correct information on YouTube. Don't trust the manual!!
